To ensure this, we would like to explain the terminology used in advance.
In this privacy policy, we use, among others, the following terms:

d) Restriction of Processing
Restriction of processing is the marking of stored personal data with the aim of limiting their processing in the future.
e) Profiling
Profiling is any form of automated processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyze or predict aspects concerning job performance, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location, or movements of that natural person.
f) Pseudonymization
Pseudonymization is the processing of personal data in a way that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organizational measures to ensure that the personal data are not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.
g) Data Controller
Data controller or controller for the processing is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. Where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union law or the law of the Member States, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union law or the law of the Member States.

However, authorities which may receive personal data in the framework of a particular inquiry in accordance with Union law or the law of the Member States shall not be regarded as recipients.
j) Third Party
Third party is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data.
k) Consent
Consent is any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her for a specific purpose.
Nachhilfe Campus does not draw conclusions about the data subject when using this general data and information. On our website, tools from companies based in the USA are integrated. When these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to the US servers of the respective companies. Please note that the USA is not a secure third country in terms of EU data protection law. US companies are obligated to disclose personal data to security authorities without the possibility of you, as the data subject, being able to take legal action against this. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that US authorities (e.g., intelligence agencies) may process, evaluate, and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
If data processing is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation, including profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis for the processing can be found in this data protection declaration. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims (objection under Article 21(1) of the GDPR).
If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such advertising, including profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (objection under Article 21(2) of the GDPR).
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.
You have the right to receive data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract in a common, machine-readable format for yourself or for a third party. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction or deletion of this data at any time. You can contact us at any time if you have further questions on the subject of personal data.
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time to exercise this right. The right to restrict processing applies in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we usually need time to verify this. During the verification period, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it for the exercise, defense, or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
- If you have objected pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data may only be processed – apart from their storage – with your consent or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of significant public interest of the European Union or a member state.
We hereby object to the use of contact data published as part of our obligation to provide a legal notice for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

5. analysis tools and advertising
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. In doing so, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of visit, operating systems used and origin of the user. This data may be summarized by Google in a profile that is assigned to the respective user or their end device.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
This analysis tool is used on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

7. Own Services
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g., by email, by mail, or via an online application form). Below, we inform you about the scope, purpose, and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing, and use of your data is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other legal provisions and that your data is treated with strict confidentiality.
Scope and Purpose of Data Collection
If you submit an application to us, we process your related personal data (e.g., contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during job interviews, etc.) as far as this is necessary for the decision on establishing an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG-new under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (general contract initiation), and – if you have given consent – Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will be passed on within our company only to persons involved in processing your application.
If the application is successful, the data you have submitted will be stored in our data processing systems based on § 26 BDSG-new and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.
Data Retention Period
If we cannot make you a job offer, if you reject a job offer, or if you withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). After this, the data will be deleted, and the physical application documents destroyed. The retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is evident that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g., due to an impending or pending legal dispute), deletion will only take place when the purpose for the further storage no longer applies.
Longer storage may also occur if you have given the corresponding consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
Inclusion in the Applicant Pool
If we do not make you a job offer, there may be the possibility to include you in our applicant pool. In the event of inclusion, all documents and information from the application will be transferred to the applicant pool to contact you in the event of suitable vacancies.
Inclusion in the applicant pool is based solely on your explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Giving consent is voluntary and is not related to the ongoing application process. The affected person can revoke their consent at any time. In this case, the data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted, unless there are legal reasons for retention.
Data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been given.
